タイトルを直訳すると「まだあなたに会っていない」。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　現在完了の完了用法です。

カナダ人シンガーのマイケル・ブーブレが公演でアルゼンチンを訪れた際に一目惚れしたという、現地の女優兼モデルのルイサナ・ラピラトさんについて歌われている曲です。

「まだ君に会えていないけど。。。」というタイトルに合点が行きます（実際にはアルゼンチン滞在中に会って会話もしたようですが、［meet］には単に「会う」だけでなく「知り合う」という意味もあります）。

帰国後この曲を書き上げて、 PVはアルゼンチンからルイサナさんを呼び寄せて撮影されました。

その後、2人はめでたく結婚しましたとさ。 。。

甚だ卑怯な手ではありますがこればかりは仕方ありません。才能ですから。

ちなみに紙吹雪の本場アルゼンチンではこんな感じです。

大量の紙吹雪によりラインが見えなくなって、サッカーの試合開始が遅れることもしばしば。 　

アルゼンチンでは年末の仕事納めが済むと、来年はもう使わないと思われる書類を切り刻んで紙吹雪を作り、会社の窓から放り投げるというものすごい習慣があるそうです。

みんなアルゼンチンに生まれるべきだったかもしれませんね。
