夏が来てから去っていくまでの束の間のお楽しみについて歌われています。

「ハイ」のスペルを使い分けているところがポイントです。

洋楽の歌詞によく出て来る「cloud nine」とは、有頂天を表わす語です。
International Cloud Atlas（国際雲図帳）に記された雲の種類10区分のうち、9番目の積乱雲がもくもくと天まで昇って行く様子から、最高に幸せな状態を表わすようになったという説が有力です。
