さて、今週はいよいよ千葉県公立高校入試の本番。 国立大の個別試験も控えています。
ここに辿り着くまでの長い道のりを思うと本当に感慨深いものがあります。
みんなこれまでに充分がんばって来ましたから、前日はあまりじたばたせず、映画『ロッキー』でも観て気合を入れてほしいところですが、『ロッキー』だと気合が入り過ぎて眠れなくなるので、単語や公式等の暗記ものの確認をして、いつもと同じくらいの時間には寝てください。
そんな受験生たちに、アメリカ人がみんな大好きな映画『ベスト・キッド（ 原題：The Moment of Truth/The Karate Kid）』のテーマソング The Moment of Truth を贈ります。
Moment of Truthとは、真実が判明するとき、つまり「勝負のとき」「正念場」といった 意味合いになります。
勝負に挑む受験生を励ます言葉に溢れた曲です。
