「For the other half of the sky（空のもう半分のために）」という言葉からはじまるとおり、世界の半分を占める女性について歌われた曲です。

冒頭部分、副詞の「hardly」の使い方に注意です。

普通の肯定文に見えますが、否定文扱いで和訳されます。

I can hardly express 　（私はほとんど表現できません）

最初から終りまで女性というものがいかに素晴らしい存在であるかと、女性への感謝の気持ちが歌われています。
